On January 1, 2024, I traded the familiar plains of Nebraska, for a dream I'd been chasing for years.

I packed my life into my car and drove west to Los Angeles. My initial strategy was to hole up in a beachside short-term rental and find social media contracts in the heart of the city.
Los Angeles' Shifting Dynamics
I had a specific vision. I'd previously worked with a glass company and saw a massive opportunity in the evolving California economy. The industry was shifting. The city was pivoting toward a demand for mixed-use property development. These projects require a unique kind of architectural storytelling that bridges the gap between luxury aesthetics and functional, high-density living.

I hoped they would see the value in a specialized marketing approach for this new market. Eventually, they did. My gamble paid off in ways I couldn't have planned. I found my rhythm and secured a marketing partnership with the top fenestration company in North America.

Milestones and Modern Architecture
The true highlight of this journey has been seeing my work recognized on a global scale. Several of the photographs I captured have been featured on ArchDaily. Managing the brand tasks for such a renowned name in the architecture world is a distinct honor.
Navigating a New Landscape
In 2025, when the Los Angeles devastating fires impacted several regions, I realized that the systems I'd already built through Builderfriend were needed for a more urgent purpose.

I'm now working closely with custom builders and elite tradesmen who are leading the massive reconstruction efforts. It isn’t just about aesthetics anymore. There are complexities to the building industry, specifically in Southern California. By applying high-level brand management to the industry, my goal is to streamline communication for builders and tradesmen.
Life in California has become a beautiful blend of professional growth and personal joy. Whether I am meeting other creatives, staying active on the beach, or raising my new puppy, the energy of this city is unmatched.

The Digital Toolkit
I quickly learned that success in fast-paced construction marketing requires a precise set of tools. I rely on these platforms to keep my brand management and marketing efforts running at a premium standard.
Tool | Purpose | Recommendation |
SEO & Marketing | My favorite software for data-driven strategy.
Social Media Management for Agencies | Essential for high-level brand consistency.
Content Scheduling for Clients | Recommended for small-scale campaign.

File Management | Reliable for large-scale architectural assets. |
Luxury Standards in Construction Marketing
Building a life here has taught me that the California way of enjoying life isn't just about the projects you work on. It is about the quality of the life you build while doing the work.
